About this course

The course develops spoken Italian through interactive lessons involving group work and role-plays. The teacher uses Italian throughout, giving learners practice in comprehension and listening while they work with everyday communication, including requests, recommendations, offers of help and polite responses. Lessons also cover grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Topics include housing, household appliances, recycling and sustainability, with language work on comparisons, the present conditional, relative pronouns, prepositions, adjective placement and diminutive forms.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for learners at pre-intermediate level who have already studied Italian to a substantial extent. The stated entry route is completion of Italian Level 13 or at least 156 class hours, and lessons involve spoken communication, group work and role-plays.
