About this course

The course develops spoken and written Italian through group activities and role-plays, with lessons conducted in Italian to strengthen comprehension and listening. Alongside communication practice, learners work systematically on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Topics include travel situations, road signs, weather, festivals, holidays, graphs, statistics and everyday expressions. The course also covers the present subjunctive, buono before nouns, andarsene, polite requests and language for expressing opinions, wishes, doubts and advice.

This course is intended for learners at an intermediate level who have previously studied Italian Level 18 or completed at least 216 class hours. Participation involves spoken communication, group work and role-plays, with the teacher using Italian throughout the lessons.
