What Elementary (A2) Italian means
At A2 Italian, learners can handle simple routine exchanges and describe familiar aspects of everyday life.

Di solito vado al lavoro in autobus e torno a casa alle sei.
I usually go to work by bus and return home at six.
Make a simple plan
Vuoi andare al cinema sabato pomeriggio?
Would you like to go to the cinema on Saturday afternoon?
Talk about the recent past
Ieri ho cenato con degli amici e poi abbiamo fatto una passeggiata.
Yesterday I had dinner with friends and then we went for a walk.
These are general examples of language use at this level, not a description of any individual course syllabus.
About this course
Lessons are taught primarily in Italian, with spoken communication at the centre of the course. Grammar work includes reflexive and regular verbs, the verb piacere, indirect object pronouns and common responses such as Anche a me and Neanche a me.
