About this course
The course develops Italian for situations involving employment, career histories, minor health problems, pharmacies and everyday advice. Learners practise discussing past habits and childhood experiences, while building vocabulary around work, health and the body. Teaching combines spoken interaction, role-plays and group activities with structured study of grammar and pronunciation. Topics include the imperfect tense, regular and irregular tu imperatives, verbs expressing the beginning, continuation or ending of actions, and the use of da for place. The teacher conducts the class in Italian to develop comprehension and listening.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for learners who are already studying Italian and have completed Italian Level 7 or at least 84 class hours. The A2 label indicates an elementary stage beyond the earliest foundations. Classes involve spoken communication, group work and role-plays, with the teacher speaking Italian throughout.
