What Pre-intermediate (A2+) Italian means

About this course
The course develops Italian communication through discussions, role-plays and structured group activities. Learners work on describing past events, people and personal experiences, making comparisons, handling everyday disagreements politely, and understanding or writing a short biography. Lessons also address grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation in a systematic way. Key language includes past time expressions, superlatives and comparatives, prima di + infinitive, and adverbs such as mai, sempre and non… ancora. The teacher conducts lessons in Italian to provide ongoing listening and comprehension practice.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for learners at Pre-intermediate (A2+) level who have already studied Italian for a substantial period. Participation combines spoken communication, group work and role-plays with structured language study, while lessons are conducted in Italian to support listening and comprehension.
- Previous study equivalent to Italian Level 8 or at least 96 class hours is required
- The course involves regular group activities and role-plays
- Learners are expected to follow teaching delivered in Italian
