About this course
This standalone session examines how Veneto’s history, geography and culture have shaped its wine production. It introduces a range of regional styles through a guided tasting, including Prosecco, Soave, Amarone, Valpolicella, Bardolino and sparkling Recioto. The class follows the Wine Scholar Guild’s Italian Wine Scholar Unit 1 curriculum and provides an introductory look at North Italian wine studies. The emphasis is on connecting regional context with the wines being tasted.
