About this course
This session examines the winemaking traditions, landscapes and volcanic influences of Campania and Basilicata within the Italian Wine Scholar Unit 2 curriculum. It covers regional history and native varieties, including Fiano, Greco di Tufo, Taurasi and Aglianico del Vulture. A guided tasting uses selected wines to compare Campania’s aromatic whites and structured reds with Basilicata’s mountain-grown wines, linking their characteristics to local geography and terroir.
