Jamaican Cooking Class

About this course

The class introduces Jamaican flavours through demonstrations and guided kitchen work. Participants prepare jerk poussin, jerk sauce, Jamaican slaw, Scotch bonnet rice and peas, and rum cake, with attention to seasoning, marinating, flavour balance and cooking techniques. Chef-led instruction covers each stage before participants work through the recipes themselves. The completed dishes are served as a Jamaican meal at the end of the class, and recipe booklets are emailed afterwards.
