Japanese Etiquette

About this course

This interactive workshop explores etiquette in everyday Japanese settings, including dining, shopping, visiting friends, making enquiries, bathing customs, and conduct at shrines and temples. Participants examine social norms and practise useful expressions through pair work, group activities, role play and games. Presentations, handouts and audio-visual materials are used to support the sessions.

Is this course right for you?

The course is open to learners at all levels and does not require prior knowledge of Japanese. It involves interactive participation, including pair work, group activities, role plays and games. Basic English reading skills and comfort with numbers are needed for daily activities.
