About this course
The workshop develops work with jazz standards through vocal warm-ups, scales, listening and discussion. Sessions include solo performances with an accompanist and introduce the basics of chart writing. Learners also develop arrangements of jazz standards and practise transcribing complex solos. Assessment is based on performance during the sessions.
