About this course

Participants assess found objects, models and handmade pieces for their suitability as casting forms, then create moulds using cuttlefish and delft clay. The class explores the possibilities and limitations of both techniques through group discussion and practical work. Participants pour molten silver into their moulds before removing sprues, filing and polishing the cast results, and converting them into jewellery.
