About this course
Participants investigate how to form and construct three-dimensional copper pieces using methods including press forming, folding, wrapping, tab construction, stitching and dies. The course combines demonstrations, discussion and practical workshop sessions, covering sifted and wet-process enamels, inclusions, kiln and torch firing, cold connections, and the adaptation of enamelling aids and kiln props. Work can be developed around a personal theme, with the course producing a portfolio of enamel samples and a finished sculptural object or jewellery piece.
