Jewellery – Improvers / Intermediate

About this course

The course develops jewellery-making skills through work with silver, including shaping, creating settings and setting cabochon stones in rings or pendants. Participants also carve wax models for casting in silver, make chain for a bracelet, and explore colour, texture and other finishes. Learners can develop personal jewellery projects with tutor guidance, discussing aims and setting achievable targets where relevant. Verbal feedback is provided throughout, with no formal assessment.
