About this course

The course introduces core workshop processes for making silver jewellery, including sawing, filing, soldering, surface decoration and finishing. Through guided projects, participants make a pendant, ring, bracelet and earrings, with opportunities to develop their own surface designs. Teaching combines demonstrations, practical exercises and project-based work using hand tools. Advice and handouts cover sourcing tools and materials, further research, and possible next courses for developing particular interests.
