About this course

The course develops communication in Korean through topics such as plans and intentions, time, and descriptions of people and objects. Participants practise expressing wishes, using future forms and adjectives, and addressing older people with honorific verbs. Teaching combines spoken interaction with pair and group work, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Reading and writing continue alongside the main focus on speaking and listening.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for learners at Elementary (A2) level who have studied Korean for about a year or completed a Korean beginners course. It involves regular spoken interaction, including pair work, group activities and role plays, alongside continued reading and writing practice.

• Previous Korean study or an equivalent level is expected
• Lessons involve participation with partners and groups
