At A1 Korean, learners are beginning to use familiar words and simple sentences in predictable everyday situations.

About this course

This workshop examines contemporary Korean lifestyle alongside traditions, covering social etiquette, common salutations, eating and shopping customs, traditional festivities, Hanbok, Arirang and Hangul. It also introduces Korean music, including traditional instruments and K-Pop. Teaching centres on spoken communication, with pair and group work, role plays and games supported by presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Homework is highly recommended to consolidate learning.
