About this course

The course develops Korean communication around describing appearance, making recommendations and expressing travel plans. Lessons combine spoken interaction, group work and role-plays with systematic study of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The teacher uses Korean throughout, giving learners regular listening and comprehension practice. The syllabus covers selected units from SNU Korean Book 1B and includes vocabulary related to clothing, adjectives and travel, alongside structures such as irregular verbs, noun modification, polite requests and conditional forms. A sociocultural element examines gift-giving taboos in Korea.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for learners who have already studied Korean for a substantial period. Previous completion of Korean Level 9 or at least 108 class hours is required. The Pre-intermediate (A2+) label indicates a developing level beyond the earliest stages. Learners should expect regular spoken communication, group work and role-plays, with the teacher speaking Korean throughout.
