About this course

The course develops Korean communication around expressing concerns, giving advice and reasons, and discussing cooking and recipes. Learners work with vocabulary related to careers, recipes, feelings and emotions, alongside Korean cultural content focused on recipes. Teaching combines group work and role-plays with structured study of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The teacher uses Korean throughout the lessons to develop comprehension and listening, while the course covers forms including -을지/ㄹ지 알다/모르다, -는/은/ㄴ 게 어때요?, -거든요 and 고 나서.

Is this course right for you?

The course is intended for learners at Intermediate (B1) level, although the provider describes it as Pre-Intermediate Korean. Previous study is required: learners should have completed Korean Level 14 or a course totalling at least 168 class hours. Participation includes regular group work, role-plays and spoken communication.
