About this course

The course develops Korean communication around comparison, cultural differences, indirect narration, injuries and symptoms, and expressing reasons for guesses. Learners work with grammar including 마다, 을/ㄹ 뻔하다, -을/ㄹ 테니까, 다고 해요, 다가 and 을/ㄹ 정도로, alongside vocabulary for emotions, feelings and medical references. Teaching combines group activities and role-plays with systematic language study. The teacher uses Korean throughout the lessons, giving learners opportunities to refine comprehension and listening while also working on pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary.

Listed at Intermediate (B1), the course is intended for learners who have already studied Korean to a fairly high level. Previous completion of Korean Level 15 or at least 180 class hours is required, and participation includes group work and role-plays.
