About this course
The course develops everyday Korean through spoken activities, group work and role-plays. Learners practise topics such as naming objects, shopping politely, describing current actions and discussing daily goods and school supplies. Teaching combines systematic work on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation with listening practice, as the teacher uses Korean throughout. The course covers polite requests, object and conjunctive particles, existence expressions, demonstratives and standard polite verb endings, as well as etiquette in everyday interactions.

- Describe objects, people’s current actions and the presence or absence of items
- Use Korean vocabulary for school supplies, daily goods and common objects
- Form polite requests and connect nouns using appropriate particles
- Apply the standard polite verb ending and object particle in basic sentences
- Recognise polite expressions and behaviour used in everyday Korean interactions

This Elementary (A2) course is intended for learners with a basic foundation in Korean, including knowledge of the Hangeul alphabet. It is designed as a progression from a beginner course and involves spoken communication, group work and role-play.
