About this course

The course develops Korean communication through classroom interaction, with learners practising spoken language in group activities and role-plays. Teaching also covers grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening and comprehension, with the teacher using Korean throughout the lessons. Topics include prices, weather and seasons, describing local weather, and basic cultural aspects of Korean food. Learners also work with adjectives and stative verbs, formal polite speech, contrast using A/V-지만, linking forms such as A/V-고, and the particle N이/가 with adjectives.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for elementary learners who have already studied some Korean or have a foundation in the language. The A2 label suggests development beyond the earliest beginner stage. Learners should be ready to take part in group work and role-plays, while the teacher conducts lessons in Korean to develop comprehension.
