What Beginner (A1) Korean means

At A1 Korean, learners are beginning to use familiar words and simple sentences in predictable everyday situations.

  • Introduce yourself

    저는 안나예요. 런던에 살아요.

My name is Anna. I live in London.

  • Order in a café

    커피 한 잔 주세요.

    A coffee, please.

  • Ask for directions

    실례합니다. 기차역이 어디예요?

Excuse me, where is the railway station?

These are general examples of language use at this level, not a description of any individual course syllabus.
