LE Fused And Stained Glass - Beginners and Improvers

About this course

Participants explore traditional leaded stained glass and copper foil work alongside glass painting and kiln-formed techniques. Demonstrations cover cutting, design development, working drawings, soldering, lead preparation, glazing and finishing, as well as fusing and slumping. Beginners complete a small leaded panel from initial design to finished piece, with additional fused, copper foil and glass painting work. Learners with more experience develop a project of their choice and extend existing skills. Projects are shaped around individual experience and goals, with tutor demonstrations and feedback during the course.

Beginners work through a complete small panel, while more experienced participants can develop a larger or more complex project. Teaching includes demonstrations, tutor feedback, self-evaluation and feedback from the group.
