About this course
This class develops long-form improvisation through initiating and sustaining scenes that are grounded, relatable and committed. Participants explore the provider’s approach to scene fundamentals, including emotional connections, relationships and acting choices that support believable scenework. The course also introduces group-scene techniques, such as sharing stage time, providing backline support and editing scenes. These elements are brought together in performing an improv montage as a team from beginning to end.

The course is intended for improvers who have completed the provider’s Level 1 introduction to improv. Learners with significant long-form experience from another improv school may also be able to join at this level, subject to confirmation.
