About this course
The workshop develops receptive BSL skills through clips covering work and social situations, including two-way conversations. Learners watch examples, practise identifying specific information and answer questions with relevant details. Teaching combines tutor demonstrations, advice on viewing strategies, group question-and-answer activities and written questions. Two additional clips are available through Google Classroom for practice outside the class.

Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for learners who are currently studying BSL at Level 3, corresponding broadly to an intermediate stage. Participation includes group question-and-answer work, watching online clips and writing answers, so basic literacy is needed for the written questions.
- Basic literacy is needed to read the questions and write answers.
Before you go
- Participants should bring a pen and paper.
- Two practice clips will be available on Google Classroom for use outside the class.
