Level 3 Improv Class: Game

About this course

The course examines the “Game of the Scene” as a way to identify, repeat and heighten comedic patterns. Learners work on maintaining a game, shaping a character’s point of view and distinguishing between a voice-of-reason character and a more unusual character. The syllabus also introduces the Montage format and fundamentals of other improv formats, with attention to following the fun during performance. The course concludes with a public class show.
