About this course
Students draw from a model in a range of short and long poses, with some extended poses continuing across sessions. The course focuses on observation, including colour harmonies, tonal scales, shape, planes, form and space, and their application to working from life. Teaching includes group question-and-answer sessions, demonstrations of technical processes, individual feedback while work is in progress, and group discussion and criticism. Each pose or session concludes with a final critique.
