About this course
Participants work through Lightroom’s interface and key modules, using the Library tools to import, organise and classify images with keywords, metadata, tags and ratings. The Develop module covers adjustments to exposure, contrast, tonal range, colour, image noise and composition. The course also examines RAW and JPEG files, image resolution, file sizes and export settings. Teaching takes place on iMacs with Adobe Lightroom installed, with attention to preparing images for online publication and print.

Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for photographers with no or little knowledge of Adobe Lightroom. The Improver label may indicate an introduction beyond the very first stage of study, but the description specifically presents the course as suitable for learners new to the software. Participation is classroom-based and involves working on individual computers.
Before you go
- An iMac with Adobe Lightroom installed is provided for classroom work.
- Learners may bring their own laptop.
- Bringing a portable memory device is advised.
