Lino Printing Day

A guided lino printmaking workshop covering design development, block cutting, colour mixing and relief printing for learners at all levels.
About this course
Participants develop an image for a linocut, either from their own ideas or through drawing and observation, then transfer it to a lino block and cut the design. The workshop introduces relief printing techniques, colour mixing and methods for producing prints on different papers. It combines demonstrations and guided making, with time to refine the design, print from the block and finish the work.
What you'll learn

- Create a linocut block using basic cutting techniques
