Lino Printing Workshop

About this course

Participants develop an original lino design before transferring it to a printing block. With guidance throughout, they learn how to carve the block safely and use traditional printmaking processes to produce prints. The workshop introduces inking, registration and multi-layer printing, allowing participants to create several finished artworks from their own design.

The workshop is intended for beginners and explicitly welcomes participants without previous experience. The format involves developing and making an individual design, while the session is also suitable for solo visitors, groups and events.

Before you go

• The studio is wheelchair accessible and has gender-neutral toilets.
• Participants with additional access needs are asked to contact the provider in advance.
• Finished prints can be taken home; framing and mounting are not included.
• Late arrivals of more than 10 minutes may not be admitted.
