This workshop examines how log cabin blocks can be constructed and varied within patchwork. Participants make a single block while exploring double line, fabric foundation piecing and herringbone approaches. Teaching focuses on two different piecing techniques and their use in forming log cabin designs. The three resulting samples can later be developed into a quilted cushion or displayed as artwork on a canvas frame.
