About this course

Participants develop a body of street portrait work while photographing people in varied London areas. The course examines the history of street portraiture and considers how it can inform photographic practice and style. Teaching combines guidance in approaching strangers with work on daylight, composition, metering and focusing. Students receive regular tutor critiques of their photographs, helping them assess and refine their developing work.
