Make a Silver Ring Workshop with The Ringsmiths in London Bridge

About this course

Participants make their own hammered sterling silver ring using traditional goldsmithing techniques, including annealing, forging, soldering and filing. The workshop offers a choice between a wide hammered band and two fine hammered stacking rings. Jewellers demonstrate each process and provide opportunities to practise, with one-to-one guidance available during the session.

Is this course right for you?

The workshop is intended for complete beginners, including those with no previous jewellery-making experience. Participants work on their own ring while receiving demonstrations and individual guidance from the jewellers.

• Participants must be aged 18 or over
• Choose between a wide band or two stacking rings

Before you go

• All tools and materials are provided
• Refreshments, snacks and a complimentary glass of Prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative are included
• Optional gold plating can be arranged after the workshop; the ring or rings must be left for up to three weeks and can then be collected or posted
• Finished rings are taken home on the day unless gold plating is arranged
