What Pre-intermediate (A2+) Mandarin means

At A2+ Mandarin, learners can connect simple sentences, give reasons and manage a wider range of familiar situations.

• Explain a preference

  我更喜欢坐火车，因为比较舒服，而且可以看书。

  I prefer travelling by train because it is more comfortable and I can read.

• Handle a small problem

  房间很冷。您能检查一下暖气吗？

  The room is very cold. Could you check the heating?

• Describe an experience

  去年我去了上海，那里的建筑给我留下了深刻的印象。

  Last year I visited Shanghai and was impressed by its architecture.
