The course is designed for artists and creatives of all abilities. Its focus on observational figure drawing is combined with opportunities for experimentation and invention. Some drawing experience is recommended, so the all-level classification does not by itself establish that the course is intended for complete beginners.

Before you go
- Easels, drawing boards, charcoal, newsprint and masking tape are provided in the studio.
- Cartridge and watercolour paper are provided, covered by a paper fee at booking.
- Participants may bring additional materials for personal use, such as drawing pencils, Conté crayons, pastels, ink pens, coloured pencils, erasers, a pencil sharpener or a sketchbook.
- A full materials list is provided one week before the course begins.
