About this course
The course develops practical numeracy through situations such as shopping, budgeting, reading timetables and planning daily activities. Participants practise adding totals, checking change, working with simple budgets, measuring quantities and solving problems step by step. Tutor guidance is provided while learners work at their own pace. The course also introduces maths vocabulary in English to help participants communicate about calculations and everyday tasks in work and life contexts.
