Maths Skills at Eco-Op

About this course

Learners develop everyday numeracy through activities based on shopping, budgeting, cooking, travel and daily routines. Topics include recognising numbers, basic addition and subtraction, money, measurement, shapes, quantities, dates and timetables. Teaching uses practical tasks, games and group activities to explore how maths is applied at home, in the community and in workplace contexts. Achievement is assessed through a portfolio of evidence linked to personalised learning goals.
