Method Acting - Beginners

About this course

The course introduces core Method Acting principles through observation, sense memory and imaginative exercises. Participants explore given circumstances, character objectives, relationships, text, subtext and the “Magic If”, applying these tools during short-scene rehearsals. Sessions combine warm-ups, voice and movement work, ensemble activities, individual feedback and actionable notes. Scene partners work together on repeatable rehearsal techniques, with the emphasis on in-class process and technique rather than a public performance.
