Method Acting - Improvers

About this course

Participants work with challenging scenes, characters and texts while building on Method Acting foundations. The course develops rehearsal approaches including sense memory, relaxation, observation and emotional connection to the material. Sessions cover detailed character development, script breakdown, role research and improvisation within both ensemble and solo work. Participants use their own lived experiences to investigate emotional truth and apply these techniques to performance.

This course is designed for learners who have completed Method Acting – Beginners or have equivalent drama training. The work includes both ensemble collaboration and solo performance, with participants engaging with complex scenes, characters and texts.
