About this course

This introductory course covers the main Excel interface and menu options, then develops basic spreadsheet skills through formatting, editing and combining information. Participants use simple functions and formulas to calculate, analyse and interpret data, while checking figures for accuracy. The course is assessed through a portfolio of evidence produced during the course. Its examples and skills are oriented towards using Excel in an administrative work environment.
