Mixed Media: Mixed Techniques & Projects

About this course

The course explores how collaged papers and drawing media can be combined to build depth, texture, tone and pattern. Participants work from still-life displays arranged in the classroom, developing artwork through processes that may include graphite, paint, wax, bleach, glue and mono-printing. Historical and contemporary artworks provide references for observing and investigating different approaches to mixed-media composition.
