Mixed Media Printmaking Short Course

About this course

The course uses demonstrations and guided studio practice to explore themes, colour theory and composition through printed collage. Participants work with both colour and black-and-white approaches, using relief and intaglio print presses to develop images and compositions. The techniques can produce prints on a range of flat surfaces, including paper, fabric, latex and light-coloured wood. The course also considers how experimental printmaking processes may inform work in painting, drawing, photography and illustration.
