About this course
The course examines the tools and methods used to shape and finalise mixes, including compression, limiting, EQ, gain structure, reverb, panning and routing through auxiliaries, group channels and sends. It also covers monitoring, listening approaches and checks before release across different formats. Teaching combines tutor demonstrations and explanations with class discussion and individual practical work on a Mac workstation running Logic. Participants apply the techniques to their own developing material, present work in progress to the group and receive feedback.

Is this course right for you?
This intermediate course is intended for learners who already use music editing software and want to develop their mixing and mastering techniques. Participation includes class discussion, individual practical work and regular presentations of work in progress to the group. Learners need to follow written and spoken instructions, take notes and engage in discussions in English.
