About this course
The course introduces printmaking processes that can be used to develop drawing ideas into prints. Participants work with etching, collograph and monoprint in a fully equipped intaglio print room, bringing their own ideas and source material as starting points.

Before you go
- An intaglio print room is provided.
- Participants should wear an apron or old clothes.
- Bring basic drawing materials, an eraser and a nylon sable-type brush in sizes 2 to 6.
- Optional equipment includes a dry point or etching needle, burnisher, magnifying glass and scraper.
- Plates and paper can be purchased in the print room at around cost price; the source gives an average spend of £10 to £20 for the course.
- Further material lists are provided one week before the course begins.
