About this course
This studio life class focuses on developing understanding of the human form through drawing. Learners practise translating what they see into marks and images on paper, using the human figure as the subject.

Is this course right for you?
The course is designed for beginners, including learners with no previous drawing experience. It takes place as a life class centred on drawing the human form.
Before you go
- Easels, drawing boards, charcoal, newsprint and masking tape are provided in the studio.
- Learners may bring additional materials for personal use, such as drawing pencils, Conté crayons, pastels, ink pens, coloured pencils, erasers, a pencil sharpener or a sketchbook.
- A full suggested materials list is provided before the course begins.
