About this course
Participants develop ideas into dance actions and sequences, exploring emotion and narrative through physical and vocal language. Movement improvisation, speech, images, sound, music and discussion contribute to a research-based creative process, with themes varying across the year. The course combines individual exploration with learning material from others and creating work collectively. Tutor-set assessment, peer exchange and self-assessment are used to review progress against the learning outcomes. Opportunities to share work through performance are included.
