About this course
Participants prepare Moroccan dishes in a family-style kitchen, working together while focusing on one chosen recipe. They can also assist with other dishes and observe how the wider meal comes together. The menu may include Harira soup, tagine, Zaalouk, Moroccan salad, Ma’Quda, couscous and Baghrir, although it is subject to change. The class introduces the ingredients, flavours and culinary traditions associated with Moroccan cooking, including the use of vegetables, legumes, spices and fruit. Preparation is followed by a shared meal with the class team.
What you'll learn
- Prepare a selected Moroccan dish using the ingredients and methods demonstrated in class.
- Practise preparing elements of additional Moroccan recipes as part of a shared meal.
- Explore the use of vegetables, legumes, spices and fruit in Moroccan cooking.
Is this course right for you?

- Participants are expected to take part in shared kitchen preparation and a sit-down meal.
Before you go
- The menu is subject to change and includes lamb, alongside vegetarian and vegan dishes.
- Listed allergens include celery, eggs, gluten (wheat), milk, sulphites and tree nuts (almonds).
- Learners with dietary requirements should notify the team in advance, but ingredients will not be substituted. Participants should only attend if the menu suits their dietary needs.
