Musical Theatre Ballet

About this course

The course introduces ballet vocabulary and foundational technique through a less formal musical theatre approach. Sessions include barre work, centre practice, jumps, turns and a ballet-based routine set to musical theatre songs. Teaching combines structured technique exercises with choreography and a conditioning section. Content focuses on posture, alignment, coordination, musicality, strength and flexibility, while giving learners opportunities to work on picking up and retaining choreography.
