The course focuses on everyday digital tasks, including browsing the web, managing online accounts, creating strong passwords and making secure payments. It also covers phishing, online scams and safer communication through email, social media and messaging apps. Teaching combines live demonstrations with practical computer-based tasks completed at each learner’s own pace. The course also introduces emerging digital and AI tools for practical daily activities, with tutor support throughout.
