NY Bagels Workshop

About this course

Participants make three New York-style bagels from scratch: everything, pumpernickel and Asiago. The workshop covers the process from mixing and shaping through boiling and baking, with attention to the techniques that produce a chewy crumb and golden crust. Each bagel style is used to explore differences in flavour and texture, including the rich character of pumpernickel and the savoury quality of Asiago.
